Ibiza Airport (IBZ) is the main international airport for the Balearic Islands of Ibiza and Formentera is located in the south of the island, just 7 kilometres (4miles)  from the centre of Ibiza Town and the Port of Ibiza .

Dalt Vila (UNESCO World Heritage site) is located in the upper part of the city, the old quarter known as Dalt Vila is surrounded by a wall built in the 16th century to protect the city from pirates and the Ottomans.

Dalt Vila has many interesting and beautiful monuments such as its 13th-century Cathedral, the Plaza de la Vilasquare, the bastions of the wall (where you can enjoy great views), the 16th century Church of Santo Domingo and the Town Hall, located in an old Dominican Convent.

The steep, cobbled streets of Dalt Vila invite you to take a peaceful walk past charming white washed houses until you reach the highest part, where you can enjoy exceptional views. You'll also find a lot of lovely restaurants in this area.

The best time to visit Dalt Vila is at night when temperatures drop and the streets are less busy.

Port of Ibiza

The port area is full of bars and restaurants and shops stay open until midnight, making it one of the liveliest areas on the island.

Pick up point for transfer for all guests in Ibiza

This will also be the pickup point (just next to the ticket office for ferries to Formentera in the Port) for the transfer to the secret venue for the Hindu ceremony via buses and where you will take your ferry to Formentera on the day after.

The company that will provide the transfer is Ibiza Gran Turismo with two coaches of 55 pax each and drop back everyone at the end of the celebrations back to the port.

Formentera

Formentera is a true island, as it has no airport and can only be reached by sea via the island of Ibiza.

Once in Ibiza, in order to reach the port of La Savina in Formentera (the only way in and out of the island ) several shipping companies make crossings every day of the week.  The crossing between the port of Ibiza and La Savina takes about 30 minutes with the fast ferry.

Feel free to dress as you wish, just please avoid RED, that is the color of the bride and 

avoid heels to be more comfy.

Both ceremonies in Ibiza and Formentera will be outdoor.

Weather

The weather in Ibiza in September is milder than in other places in the Mediterranean Sea.

The lowest average temperature in September is 19ºC and the highest 27ºC

Also, the seawater in Ibiza remains warm, at an average temperature of 25ºC, so don't forget your swimming gear.

And lastly, days are still long enough to make the most of the daylight, as the sunset isn’t until 8p.m.
